Stephen is a Partner in William Fry’s Corporate Department, specialising in transactional corporate work with a particular emphasis on private equity transactions, acting for both investors and companies. Stephen also advises on a range of general corporate matters, including corporate restructurings.
Recent significant deals include advising:
- Anglo Irish Bank on the restructuring of the Quinn Group
- BiancaMed on its sale to ResMed
- Bank of America Merrill Lynch on the sale of an Irish funds services business to LaCrosse Global
- NAMA on its relationship with a number of large borrowers
Stephen lectures in company law in the Law Society of Ireland and also speaks frequently on general corporate and corporate governance issues.
