Martin is a Partner and Head of William Fry Tax Advisors. He has over 20 years experience in advising on international tax. He is one of only five Irish tax professionals to be ranked in the world’s top 250 tax professionals.
Significant transactions he has been involved with include:
- Advising Blackrock on the design of a physical ETC US$1bn platform for precious metal
- Advising Babcock & Brown on the tax structuring for the acquisition of Eircom Plc
- Advising Kennedy Wilson on the acquisition of a €1.3 billion portfolio of loans from Bank of Ireland
- Advising Smurfit Kappa Group on the largest ever IPO in Ireland
Martin is a Council member and Deputy President of the Irish Taxation Institute. He represents the profession on taxation committees with industry, government and Revenue.
