Brian is a Partner with William Fry Tax Advisors. He has over eight years' experience advising clients in tax structuring, inward investment and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He provides taxation advice to a broad base of clients in various business sectors, including insurance, hotels and tourism, mobile telecommunications, venture capital groups, radio and television and private equity and hedge funds.
His recent significant transactions include advising:
- The management of Vivas Group in relation to the sale of their interests in Vivas Group Limited to Hibernian Group plc/Aviva Insurance
- Communicorp Limited on the €50m sale of FM104 to UTV plc
- RSA Insurance Ireland on its acquisition of Benchmark Underwriting Limited
Brian is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute and has contributed to many publications.
