Brendan Cahill | Profile
Brendan is a Partner in William Fry’s Corporate Department. He joined the firm in 1989, having worked with a leading Law Firm in the UK for a number of years, and became a partner in 1995. He is a former Managing Partner of the Firm and a Director of the Ireland-US Council.
Brendan specialises in Irish and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt issues, shareholder disputes, listing obligations, corporate finance, employee incentive plans and corporate restructurings. He advises a number of international companies with Irish operations and a number of Irish companies quoted on the Irish, London and New York Stock Exchanges on Irish and cross-border operations. Clients include Aviva, ConocoPhillips, Paddy Power and Starbucks. He also leads the Firm's Distressed Assets Group.

- The acquisition by Afilias Limited of the dotMOBI domain name Registrar
- The restructuring of the Waterford Wedgwood Group
- The recasting of the Share Incentive structures for a prominent Irish quoted company
