Alvin Price | Profile
Alvin is Chairman of William Fry and a Partner in the Corporate Department. He acts for a range of major Irish and international companies, both public and private, across the spectrum of corporate and business law.
Alvin is a member of the Irish Takeover Panel, the statutory body which oversees public company takeovers in Ireland. He is also a member and former Chairman of the Business Law Committee of the Irish Law Society and of various international trade organizations. He is also an associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
According to Chambers Europe, 2011, Alvin Price is described as 'pragmatic, reasonable to deal with, and always commercially aware.' Chambers Global, 2010 notes that Alvin "has a strong track record of advising clients on a diverse range of corporate and commercial law matters." Chambers Europe, 2009 says: "…the “vastly experienced” Alvin Price spans the public and private spectrum in his work for both Irish and international companies," having previously (2008) reported: "the 'brilliant' Alvin Price is 'fantastic on anything to do with due process'".
