Mediation

Our ADR lawyers are qualified CEDR and Friarylaw/ADR Group Accredited Mediators and members of mediation panels including CEDR-Solve and Irish Commercial Mediators Association.

We can advise clients, represent them at mediation and act as mediators in general commercial matters and in the specialist areas of projects, engineering, construction, real estate, intellectual property and medical negligence/healthcare. We can match the subject matter expertise of our lawyers to the subject matter of your dispute.

Mediation delivers privacy, confidentiality, cost savings, reduces management time and preserves business relationships when compared with other processes. It eliminates the potential risks of an adverse decision by enabling the parties to exercise control over the process and its outcome.

Our recent mediation experience includes:

  • Acting for a landlord in a mediation arising from a complex high value industrial lease termination dispute
  • Acting for the employer in a mediation with a process engineering consultant on a complex engineering processing facility
  • Acting for a local authority in relation to a mediation arising from a dispute on the terms of a development agreement
  • Acting for an employer in respect of a number of high value employment mediations

We also have experience and expertise in Med-Arb which enables us to provide first-rate legal advice to clients engaged in or considering this process.
