Testimonial
I joined the Commercial Property Department of William Fry as a newly
qualified Solicitor in 2001, having completed my traineeship in a small
practice in Cork. It was a fantastic time to be working in Property as
the country was experiencing the largest property boom ever. I regularly
acted on transactions with a monetary value in excess of 50 million and
had dealings with all of the major players in the property market.
Throughout that period, there was great camaraderie among my colleagues,
in addition to a sense of satisfaction in getting a large deal over the
line.
With the recent downturn in the economy, and the resultant
increase in property litigation, I have moved to the Litigation
Department to focus on contentious property disputes and be a dedicated
property expert with the Litigation Department. This offers the best of
both worlds as I can still do property transactional work while also
advising my clients on contentious property issues. With the full
support of the firm, I retrained using internal and external resources.
Having worked in William Fry for almost 10 years, I can recognise
that one of the best things is that hard work and endeavour are
recognised and rewarded.
