I joined William Fry in 2005 as a float secretary, which was really interesting as I quickly got a feel for the work in different areas and also got to know a lot of faces around the building. I then spent three years in Corporate before transferring to Litigation and I am still there.

I support a number of lawyers from junior to senior and their cases vary from contentious IP matters to breaches of contract litigation to defamation and medical negligence. We also do commercial court litigation and are currently handling a $1bn international fraud case - I never know what will come across my desk so it keeps things interesting.

There is a great sense of camaraderie on my floor and the Firm's Social Committee do a great job organising fun nights out. Since I am on the Secretarial Committee I also get a chance to have my voice heard.
